
Improving Trust in Health
Project overview
Recognizing that trust is the foundation upon which effective public health and healthcare delivery systems are built, this initiative has identified and prioritized specific actions aimed at enhancing trust in health, with a particular focus on communities, communication, and competence. These focus areas will serve as the foundational elements for a larger global initiative, seeking to establish a platform that fosters trust in health globally.

The Health Trust Initiative participated in the Duke Global Health Innovation Center and Innovations in Healthcare 2024 Annual Forum session, “Building Trust in Health” in October 2024. This session addresses the public health as well as socio-political aspects of trust, focusing on forward-looking actions that we can take to build trust by focusing on empowering communities and strengthening health communications.
