Examining the WHO’s Prequalification Program
Project overview
Through an analysis of the timelines and regulatory pathways of select prequalified (PQ) health products, a review of public WHO PQ materials, and interviews with more than 20 experts, we identified opportunities to enhance WHO’s role in facilitating equitable global access to health products and technologies, and offer an analysis of WHO’s role in the larger, evolving regulatory ecosystem.
