Emily joined the Duke Global Health Institute in 2025. She has a Masters in Health Advocacy from Sarah Lawrence College and a BA from Syracuse University. She has been working in grants management for the last 10 years, most recently at New York-Presbyterian and the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.

She comes from New York City and enjoys spending her free time outside with her dog.
